Indonesia's youth will face several challenges in future, including a gap or inequitable access to education, which should be handled, Minister of Finance's Special Staff in the Strategic Communication Department Yustinus Prastowo stated.

"We should figure out how to have more equitable education levels as well as better access to knowledge," Prastowo stated during the InFest Incubation 2021 online talk show observed from here on Monday.

The other area of concern pertains to connectivity challenges in order to connect one region to another in Indonesia as an archipelagic state, he noted.

In addition, he remarked that technological disruption can be a challenge as well, wherein a relevant information today may no longer be so in future.

To this end, he encouraged the younger generation, which would become the nation's future leaders, to not become complacent and continue on the path of self-improvement.

"It is best to not think that what we are doing right now is the peak of achievement to the extent that we are no longer willing to open to other innovations," Prastowo elaborated.

Meanwhile, he emphasized that the youth should also be capable of anticipating, evaluating, filtering, and choosing the best investment based on the correct information.

"Do not become trapped by incorrect flow of information, such as how our government is in constant debt or every infant that was born is saddled with debt," he remarked.

"Do not be scared by them. You have to be willing to look for the correct information," he stated.

Prastowo remarked that the youth should be aware that investment is not just about gaining profits but also about preparing oneself for the future. (Antaranews)
