Voice of Indonesia presents Let’s Speak Indonesian, a program that introduces the Indonesian vocabulary and guides you to speak in the language. Mari Berbahasa Indonesia or Let’s Speak Indonesian is a joint initiative of Voice of Indonesia and the Language Development Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture.  Today’s topic is about ““Layanan Pesan Antar” which means“Delivery Service”.

Here is the conversation entitled “Kami Akan Kirim Pesanan Anda” which means“We Will Deliver Your Order”. This dialog happens when Kevin is calling a restaurant because the order he received is not correct. The waitress said they would deliver Kevin’s order. Let’s read to the conversation.

Kami akan kirim pesanan Anda.

 Kevin

Ayam goreng ya. Sesuai pesanan. (dengan nada ramah namun tegas)

Wanita

Baik.

In the dialog, you hear a sentence Kami akan kirim pesanan Anda (2X) which means We will deliver your order. The word akan in the sentence shows that something will happen. In the dialog, the waitress plans to deliver Kevin’s order (not happen yet). The word akan (2X) means will.
