Chefs posed at the chef expo 2022 opening ceremony - 

Chef Expo 2022 was officially opened by the Head of the National Food Agency Arief Prasetyo Adi. The big celebration of the Indonesian Chefs Association officially opened today. After a 2 year vacuum due to the Covid 19 pandemic, Chef Expo 2022 is officially held again.

Slamet Jarwanto as ICA's Vice President for Marketing and Events as well as Chairman of the Chef Expo 2022 Committee was delighted that Chef Expo 2022 was successfully held again and became the first biggest culinary event this year. Slamet also felt happy and grateful that this event was officially opened by the Head of the National Food Agency.
According to a release received by Voice of Indonesia on Wednesday (18/05/22), ICA President Henry Alexie Bloem in his virtual speech from the Netherlands congratulated on the formation of the National Food Agency and the inauguration of Mr. Ir. H Arief Prasetyo Adi as Head of the National Food Agency.

Chef Bloem hopes that the synergy of the Indonesia Chef Association as a professional organization for food processors with the National Food Agency will produce significant benefits for the Indonesian people and nation.
Arief welcomed the ICA Chef Expo this year, according to him, chefs have an important role in promoting the diversity of Indonesian food, from the work of processed food in the hands of chefs, various types of food are created.

"Indonesia has the largest biodiversity in the world, with 77 types of carbohydrate sources, 226 types of nuts, 389 types of fruits, 228 types of vegetables, and 110 types of spices and seasonings. Through the role of the chef, it is hoped that the diversity of food sources can be optimized to achieve food self-sufficiency,” explained Arief in his remarks at the ICA Chef Expo on Wednesday [18/5/2022]
He added that the main indicator of food consumption in Indonesia was diverse, balanced and safe, namely through the achievement of the Expected Food Pattern (PPH) score. Therefore, through the event

The ICA Chef Expo is a strategic momentum to build collaboration in order to realize the achievement of PPH Consumption through food that is diverse, nutritionally balanced and safe.
Arief added that this is in accordance with President Joko Widodo's directive that food is the main focus at this time, food needs to be improved by utilizing Indonesia's food wealth. "In line with President Joko Widodo's mandate that food is the main focus, so let's work together in synergy, collaborate to optimize the diversity of Indonesian food consumption," he hoped.
After officially opening, the event was immediately invaded by the audience because apart from the presence of Celebrity Chefs such as Chef Juna, Chef Chandra Yudasswara, Chef Yongki Gunawan, Chef Axhiang and Indonesian food maestro Ms. Sisca Soewitomo.

At this opening, Indonesian Kung Fu Chef Chef Muto was also shown as the opening attraction.
