New Capital City Authority Trains Communities to Empower Human Resources

The Coordinator of the Information and Communication Team of the National Capital Transitional Team (IKN) Sidik Pramono said his party held community empowerment training, in the context of IKN development, Monday (4/7/2022).

The training was conducted to improve the competence and professionalism of Human Resources (HR), especially in local communities.

"The opening of the training, which is coordinated by the Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) team, will be held at the Sepaku District Office, North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan," explained Sidik.

Sidik continued, the opening of the training was attended by Deputy Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority, Dhony Rahajoe.

"The first phase of the training program will be organized by the Samarinda Cooperation Training Center, the Ministry of Manpower and consists of five types of training, namely hydroponic training, screen printing or digital printing, sewing, bread making, and barista," he explained.

Sidik added, each type of training was attended by 16 people. Participants have been identified by the Sepaku District Government. They underwent training with different durations according to the type of training, an average of 20 effective days.

At the end of the training, he continued, participants will be tested for their competence. If they pass, they will get a certification.

It is hoped that this training can build a network for local residents to be able to contribute optimally when the IKN development stage begins. Currently, there are 28 types of training scheduled for residents in the IKN area.

Please note, the Archipelago Capital Authority is the designation for the Regional Government of the Special Capital of the Archipelago which is the executor of the preparation, development, and relocation of the National Capital, as well as the organizer of the Regional Government for the Special Capital of the Archipelago.

The Transitional Team for Supporting the Preparation, Development and Relocation of the State Capital is a team formed based on the Decree of the Minister of the State Secretary Number 105 of 2022 dated April 28, 2022 in order to support the smooth and accelerated preparation, development and relocation of the State Capital.
