Indonesian Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) opened the 37th largest international trade exhibition in Indonesia, 'Trade Expo Indonesia' (TEI). Zulhas said this year's TEI can provide convenience and comfort for visitors who see firsthand quality products.

"One of the largest business-to-business exhibitions in the Asian region, this 37 years I think is extraordinary. Thumbs up," said the Minister of Trade when opening the 37th TEI at the Ministry of Trade Office, Jakarta, Wednesday (10/8/2022).

As an international business to business (B2B) trade exhibition, TEI offers the opportunity to showcase products in the form of goods or services. As well as investment opportunities and cooperation between Indonesian business actors and business players from abroad.

Zulhas hopes that this exhibition can open up opportunities for business actors in the country to be competitive. At the same time increasing the value of Indonesia's exports.

"Hopefully the organizers of TEI 37 in 2022 will be able to contribute directly to increasing Indonesia's exports, both in the short and long term," he said.

This time TEI carries the theme "Strengthening the Global Trade for Stronger Recovery". This event will be held on a hybrid basis (offline and online), after previously being held online for two consecutive years.

This exhibition will take place on 19-23 October 2022 in a hybrid manner at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang. Meanwhile, the TEI exhibition which will be held online will last longer, on 19 October-19 December 2022. (RRI)
