The Presidential Staff Office team verified the field for the construction of the Nusantara Capital (IKN) in Penajam Paser Utara. The Main Expert Staff of the Presidential Staff Office, Wandy Tuturoong, ensured that the IKN development was in accordance with the plan.

"The plan is in accordance with the head of the authority," said Wandy in the RRI Pro3 dialogue, Wednesday (24/8/2022).

His party recently visited the IKN location, especially in the central government area. To ensure preparation of development in the early phase.

"There are many activities there, one of which is the preparation for construction of residential complexes. Residential housing for workers, 22 apartment units are built with a height of four floors," he said.

Regarding the supply of drinking water and clean water, the Sepaku Semoy dam is being built. His party is preparing and waiting for the groundbreaking which will not take long.

"This means that the progress that has been designed is visible and it is hoped that it will go according to plan. It is in the early stages of development," he said.

Head of the IKN Authority, Bambang Susantono, has also revealed that in August his party began to prepare infrastructure work. While the construction of infrastructure and core buildings at IKN on a full scale will begin in 2023. (RRI)
