The Ministry of Trade is ready to hold the G20 Trade, Investment and Industry Working Group (TIIWG) Meeting. In this case, the Ministry of Trade will cooperate with the Ministry of Investment/BKPM and the Ministry of Industry.

This is a prelude to the G20 Ministerial Meeting (Trade, Investment and Industry Ministerial Meeting/TIIMM). This part of the agenda for the G20 Indonesia Presidency will be held on 19-23 September 2022 in Nusa Dua, Bali.

"We are ready to hold TIIWG and TIIMM for a whole week," said the Director General of International Trade Negotiations at the Ministry of Trade, Djatmiko Bris Witjaksono. He will also act as Chair of the TIIWG Session.

In addition to the Kemeninves/BKPM and the Ministry of Industry, the implementation of this activity also received support from the Bali Provincial Government and other related parties. "We continue to coordinate intensively so that the meeting can be carried out optimally," said Djatmiko.

The Director General also ensured that all G20 members would send delegates to the two meetings. "As many as 34 ministers, ministerial-level officials, and leaders of international organizations have been confirmed to be present in Bali," he said.

In addition, the Ministry of Trade will also hold an exhibition “G20 Sustainable Expo” with the theme 'Sustainable Together, Sustainable Stronger'. Here, Indonesia's superior products that are environmentally friendly and sustainable will be displayed.

Various innovative products from the trade, investment and industrial sectors are certain to appear at the exhibition. "We intend to introduce the culinary and tourism advantages of Bali as a form of promotion of the cultural richness of the archipelago," said Djatmiko. (RRI)
