Gov't Prepares 1,452 Electric Vehicles in Bali for G20

A total of 1,452 electric vehicles were alerted to assist the succession of the G20 Summit in Bali. This is based on data from the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg).

"In general, the government has prepared 1,452 electric vehicles to assist the mobility of the G20 Summit in Bali," said Novie Riyanto to RRI.co.id, Saturday (12/11/2022).

Novie detailed, as many as 962 electric cars, 454 electric motorcycles, and 36 electric buses, which came from various automotive manufacturers.

In addition to providing electric buses, said Novie, the Ministry of Transportation's support in the land sector during the G20 took place, by arranging traffic engineering with the police.

"That is through the implementation of the odd-even system and restrictions on the operation of goods transportation from November 13 to 17, 2022, at 06.00-22.00 WITA," she explained.

Based on the results of trials since November 9, 2022 to date, it is reported that road user compliance during the odd-even implementation has reached 71 percent.

"We hope that when the implementation of the community compliance summit increases, considering that the odd-even implementation will be effective Sunday (11/13/2022)," she concluded. (RRI)
