President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) again called on the leaders of the G20 and the world to stop the war. This was conveyed by the President when opening Session III of the G20 at The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Wednesday (16/11/2022).

"Starting this third session, let me repeat the message I conveyed at the opening of the summit yesterday. Stop the war, I repeat, stop the war," said President Jokowi.

President Jokowi emphasized that many things are at stake and war will only bring misery to the people. According to him, the world economic recovery will also not occur if the situation does not improve.

"As leaders, we all have a responsibility to ensure that the global situation is conducive for the future of the world," said the President. Previously, the President at the opening of the G20 Summit stressed all parties to be responsible for ending the war.

"Being responsible here also means we have to stop wars. If wars don't stop, it will be difficult for the world to move forward," said the President, Tuesday (15/11/2022).

In addition, if the war does not stop it will be difficult for the world to be responsible to the next generation. Therefore, the President requested that the G20 countries not let the world fall into a cold war.

"We shouldn't divide the world into parts. We shouldn't let the world fall into a cold war," said the President.
