Here are the Headlines of several national newspapers published today, August 21, 2018.

We begin with Kompas on "Inspiration from Medals."

Indonesia isreally happy in the two days since the opening of the Asian Games 2018. Until Monday (20/8/2018), Indonesian contingents have collected 4 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals. The sports which could grab the gold medals are those that have been predicted before exceptfor women's 48 kg weightlifting which only got silver. Besides that, cycling which was not targeted to grab gold by the government has succefully got2 gold medal. On Sunday, Indonesia obtained one gold in women's individual poomsae Taekwondo, by Defia Rosmaniar.

On Monday, Indonesia collected three gold medals from wushu by Lindswell Kwok and cycle downhill by Khoiful Mukhib and Tiara Andini Prastika. Silvers were submitted by Sri Wahyuni Agustiani from women's 48kg weightlifting. Meanwhile, two bronzes were given by Surahmat in men's 56kg weighlifting and Nining Porwaningsih in downhill. The efforts of those athletes in seizing the medals were not only about defeating the opponents, but also defeating their own selves. They had postponed their interests and even bore pain, for the sake of achievement.

Meanwhile, Republika wrote "Indonesia Plays Better."

Some Indonesian athletes made achievements in the Asian Games 2018. Indonesia added three medals from wushu and downhill on Monday. Gold in wushu was obtained by Indonesian main athlete, Lindswell Kwok who played in taijiquan and taijijian. She gained 9.75 points in taijiquan on Sunday morning, and another 9.75 in taijijian yesterday.

We end the Headlines with Tempo on "Aftershock Predicted Goes to Northeast of Lombok."

Aftershocks are predicted to keep happening in West Nusa Tenggara in the next two days. People in Lombok Island and Sumbawa Island were asked to anticipate further disaster in the form of landslide and collapsing building. Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency Head Dwikorita Karnawati said, earthquake may continue due to the previous fault is trying to stabilize. Dwikorita Karnawati yesterday said, aftershocks will head to northeast, since it is in different cluster.
