Indonesian President Joko Widodo said the accelerating development of Sumatra Institute of Technology is immediately needed, as the campus has a supporting faculty to welcome the fourth generation or 4.0 industrial revolution. This was conveyed by President Joko Widodo when reviewing the development of campus building of Sumatra Institute of Technology in South Lampung, on Sunday (21/1).
"To accelerate the development of the Technology Institute of Sumatra, the most important thing for the students to pursue the target immediately is to achieve 4.0 revolution which currently requires quite number of engineers," President Joko Widodo said.
President Joko Widodo reiterated that the acceleration of the development of Sumatra Institute of Technology is very important, because in the future, Indonesia will sustain more diverse of industrial challenges. On the occasion, the President said, that Sumatra Institute of Technology campus is built on 275 hectares of land.
