Indonesia Ready to Compete in Asian Cycling Championship ANTARA
Indonesia expressed readiness to compete in the Asian Cycling Championship (ACC), which will take place at Jakarta International Velodrome from 8 to 13 January 2019.

"Our athletes are in good condition. They are ready to compete," Head coach of the Indonesian BMX team Dadang Haris Purnomo said here on Sunday.

Furthermore, all athletes are undergoing a variety of training sessions ahead of the convening of the Asian Cycling Championship.

"The exercise has been carried out since the end of the 2018 Asian Games. After the Asian Games, the athletes immediately took exercises for the ACC," he said.

As a result, he noted, the preparation of the athletes will get better.

He revealed that the competition among athletes would be very tight.

"The Asian Cycling Championship (ACC) is one of 2020 Olympic Qualification Events," he said.

The participants will make the best effort to get points in the annual continental cycling championships for road bicycle racing and track cycling.

The Indonesian team will deploy 28 athletes in 15 match numbers.

"I hope all athletes can perform optimally," Purnomo remarked.
