Jakarta (VOI News) - The cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore keeps being stronger year by year and it increases continuously. Even, Singaporean investment in Indonesia is running sustainably. This was stated by Singaporean Ambassador to Indonesia, Anil Kumar Nayar after attending Diplomatic Forum held by Voice of Indonesia in Jakarta on Wednesday (19/02). Ambassador Anil Nayar explained that related to the outbreak of corona virus from China, Singapore is observing the world economic development in strengthening cooperation with Indonesia.

I think economic cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore is still going on very strongly for the last almost five years, 2014, 2 last years, Singapore has been the top investor in Indonesia and I think the interest to invest more in Indonesia is very strong in business commodity. Of course we have to see how the effect of the virus now impact in terms of the international business sentiment in general. But I think if we are talking about Singapore business interest to Indonesia. I think it’s still very strong, said Ambassador Anil Kumar Nayar.

Moreover, Ambassador Anil Kumar Nayar further explained that the sectors of cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore that have occurred so far are defense, economy, and tourism. He hopes that in facing the international uncertainty challenges nowadays, the cooperation of the two countries keeps increasing in the future. (VOI-AF)
