Indonesia records 8,607 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 1,042 recoveries

Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Response reported, that patients recovering from COVID-19 rose, to reach 1,042, while confirmed cases touched 8,607 as  April 25. As quoted by Antara News Agency, the government's spokesperson for COVID-19 response, Ahmad Yurianto confirmed the numbers. Meanwhile the number of deaths toll reached 720. Positive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in 280 districts and cities across the country's 34 provinces. The number of people under monitoring was recorded at 206,911, while patients under surveillance touched 19,084. The highest number of cases until now were recorded in Jakarta, followed by West Java, East Java, Central Java, South Sulawesi, and Banten. Meanwhile, 45 laboratories operate for COVID-19 detection PCR test, with the number of specimens examined since April 1, until now reaching 67,828 specimens and the number of cases examined touching 52,541//Ant
