The 14th Campus Convention and the 20th Annual Meeting of the Indonesian Rector Forum held at Hasanuddin Makassar Campus on 15th and 16th February, resulted six recommendations. This was stated by the Head of Public Relations and Protocol Unit of Hasanuddin University Ishaq Rahman, in Makassar, Friday (16/2). As quoted by Antara, the six recommendations are encouraging universities to innovate and conduct research that can be utilized optimally to support economic sector and nation's competitiveness, encouraging the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education to de-bureaucratization and deregulation on licensing to answer problem of disruption era and industrial revolution 4.0. In addition, the recommendations also touched on restoring the values of Pancasila in the life of nation and state through various strategies and steps that must be done by all institutions, especially by universities. The Rector Forum was attended by 527 state and private university rectors across Indonesia. (antara/trans alika)
