President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received wishes on his 59th birthday on Sunday, one of them was from Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati.

"President Joko Widodo is a friendly person. He is also an open-minded person. However, Jokowi firmly preserve the nation's diversity," Sri Mulyani said in her Instragram account @smidrawati, Sunday.

According to the Managing Director of the World Bank for the period 2010-2016, President Jokowi is a trusted figure to lead the struggle toward Advanced Indonesia.

"Happy birthday Indonesian President, Mr. Joko Widodo @jokowi," Indrawati, a colleague of Jokowi who has worked together since 2016 wrote.

"May Allah bestow health and all kindness to President Joko Widodo in leading Indonesia to face this difficult time," she said.

As usual, the president never celebrated his birthday with a party or special event.

Nevertheless, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jokowi's birthday received much attention from the public through social media.

Since morning, a variety of utterances continue to flow. People encouraged the head of state to continue to work hard to be able to handle various national problems, especially the issue of health and economy.

On her Instagram account, Sri Mulyani also displayed video footage of President Jokowi working and handling COVID-19, such as surveying airports, meeting residents, and seeing quarantine facilities in a number of hospitals.
