Cilacap is a regency in Central Java which directly shares a border with West Java Province. In addition, the location is close to the ocean. So, it has a lot of beach attractions. One of them is Teluk Penyu Beach, which is so exotic with its black sand. High waves become characteristic of this tourism attraction. This beach is actually a tourism attraction that is one package with other tours, namely Nusakambangan Island and Pendem Fort which are vital tourism objects in Cilacap.

This beach is called Teluk Penyu because this beach used to have a lot of turtles, as well as being a breeding ground for turtles. Since a long time ago, this place has been very beautiful. However, this was not visited by many tourists. This beach has a nice sea, even though it doesn't seem to be graded from the edge to the middle of the sea. Black sand spreads out like a soft carpet on the floor. The black color contrasts with the clear sea water. There is also a bridge that juts into the sea, partly covered in sand. This area is often used by the visitors to take pictures with the ocean as a background.

This tourism attraction is located on the South Coast, Cilacap Regency. From the downtown of Cilacap, this beach is quite close, only about 5 km and can be reached within 15 minutes by motor vehicles. Visitors can come to this attraction at any time and you only need to pay a cheap entrance ticket, namely Rp. 5,000 per person.
