Positive COVID-19 cases amid long holiday is 2,897 cases

New cases of positive confirmation of COVID-19 in Indonesia based on data from the Ministry of Health reported by the Task Force for Handling COVID-19, Friday to 12.00 WIB, reached 2,897 cases, bringing the total to 406,945 cases.
 
 Based on data from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force received in Jakarta, Friday, the number of recovered patients per day has increased by 4,517, with a total of 334,295 COVID-19 patients recovering.
 
 The data on patients recovering per day is almost double compared to the data for positive confirmation of COVID-19 per day.  This result is in accordance with the direction directed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia to reduce the number of new cases and increase cases recovered every day.
 
 Meanwhile, for cases of confirmed positive COVID-19 patients who died, 81 have now increased to 13,782 deaths.  Meanwhile, currently the government is also monitoring 68,292 people who are categorized as suspected COVID-19 and their health conditions are monitored.
 
 This number was obtained from the specimens examined per day as many as 24,854 specimens with a total of 4,488,738 specimens examined.  The number of specimen examinations per day is half of the specimen examination on a normal day which can reach more than 50 thousand specimens.
 
 The most additional new cases this Monday were reported in DKI Jakarta with 612 cases, West Java 320 cases, West Sumatra 301 cases, East Java 222 cases, and East Kalimantan 205 cases.
 
 The highest number of patients recovered from COVID-19 was in West Sumatra with 1,176 people, DKI Jakarta with 1,077 people, West Java with 356 people, Central Java with 300 people, and East Kalimantan with 254 people.  The most deaths recorded today are East Java with 18 people, DKI Jakarta and Central Java with 14 people, and Riau with six people.
 
 The highest cumulative COVID-19 cases were in DKI Jakarta with a total of 104,847 cases, East Java 52,242 cases, and West Java 35,927 cases.  Most cumulative recovered cases were in DKI Jakarta 92,219 people, East Java 46,152 people, and Central Java 27,808 people.  Most of the deaths occurred in East Java with 3,758 people, DKI Jakarta 2,232 people, and Central Java 1,734 people.
