In order to improve the security of the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, the Indonesian Air Force will establish Air Force Operations Command III. It was disclosed by Air Force Chief of Staff (KSAU) Marshal Yuyu Sutisna to Media on the sidelines of the Indoensian Air Force Leadership Meeting 2018 at Air Force Headquarters, Cilangkap, Jakarta, Friday (26/01). Yuyu hoped that the Air Force Operations Command III can be realized immediately.
“It is already in the Strategic Plan (Renstra) of the establishment of the Air Force Operation Command III (Koopsau III). What we are forming, when and so on. It is expected that this year the organization can be proposed at least this first Quarter. The commander specifies that the Indonesian Air Force had to form the command. Indonesian Army has made the Division there and the Indonesian Navy has formed the Eastern Fleet. We want to fix it all as well so that the formation of the Air Force Operations Command can be effective and efficient,” Marshal Yuyu Sutisna said.
Marshal Yuyu Sutisna explained that the Air Force Chief Planning Assistant is currently reviewing the establishment of the Air Force Operations Command III. The command headquarter will be in Biak or Sorong, West Papua which is expected to be integrated with the establishment of Division III of the Army Reserve Strategy Command and Eastern Fleet Navy. //// (voinews / Ahmad Faisal / edt /ahm)
The Tourism and Cultural Office of Jakarta is preparing to deploy licensed and professional tour guides who are incorporated in the Indonesian Tour Guides Association (HPI) to support the Asian Games and Asian Paragames 2018. When opening the Youth Guide Training Head of the Tourism and Cultural Office of Jakarta, Tinia Budiati said in Jakarta on Thursday, January 25th that Jakarta will hold a big event this year, namely the Asian Games and Paragames, so that the role of guides to support the events is required.
At the 18 Asian Games which will be held from August 18 to September 2, Jakarta will receive tens of thousands of guests, such as athletes, coaches, officials and other supporting personnel. The Asian Games will then be followed by the Asian Paragames from October 8 to 16. Some 9.5 thousand athletes; 2.5 thousand personnel of the Asian Olympic Council; and 5.5 thousand technical delegates from 45 countries will participate, or be involved, in the event. Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan discussed Indonesia`s efforts in developing rural areas during a meeting with the Netherland`s Queen Maxima during the World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland on Wednesday, January 24th. In a press release received by Antara News Agency on Thursday (January 25th) Queen Maxima, as the United Nations Secretary-General`s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, explained the importance of global inclusive finance, including in handling poverty in rural areas.
She also pointed out that the visions written in the Sustainable Development Goals -SDGs are related to one another. In response, Minister Luhut Pandjaitan stated that the Indonesian government is currently prioritizing the government funds for the development of rural areas in a bid to reduce the poverty rate.
