The transportation ministry prepares to enter the new normal, with flights to and from Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. Director General of Civil Aviation from the Ministry of Transportation, Novie Riyanto, noted in a statement received in Jakarta, Saturday, that Bali had been making preparation to enter the new normal era, by following the provisions and health protocols being enacted. As quoted by Antara, in this time passengers looking to enter Bali through the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, should hold a document that shows negative results for COVID-19, from a swab test based on the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Before conducting inspections at the airport, the director general held a meeting with Bali Governor I Wayan Koster in Denpasar. Indonesians in Minneapolis remain secure and safe, as violent protests and fires broke out in this largest city in the US State of Minnesota, over the past 72 hours after African-American George Floyd’s recent death. Former Vice President Jusuf Kalla expressed belief that the new normal, entailing revival and adjustment of the people's activities owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, would offer hope to the public. Curbs in Japan's capital of Tokyo to contain the coronavirus are to be eased further from Monday, Jun 1, Governor Yuriko Koike said, citing the recommendation of an advisory panel. Cram schools, gyms, and theatres are among the facilities, that will be allowed to reopen in a phased relaxation process, Koike told a news conference on Friday. The city can "move to the next step of the phased easing of curbs, as long as Tokyo takes the necessary precautions, to contain the spread of the virus", she quoted the panel as having said.
