PT Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a state-owned enterprise which manages special economic zone of Mandalika, reported the surge of visitors on Idul Fitri holiday. Since officially being opened to the public on Idul Fitri holiday on Friday (15/6), the number of visitors who came until Saturday (23/6) reached 48,263 people or approximatelly as many as 5,000 tourists every day. General Manager of MandalikaSpecial Economic Zone, I Gusti Lanang Bratasuta pointed out at Kuta Mandalika beach, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara –NTB on last Sunday (24/6) that the visitors did enjoy visitingKuta Beach Park of Mandalika. He also said that the visitors were more comfortable and safe to enjoy their holidays because there was Car Free Day -CFD to handle traffic jam. Besides, the cooperation as state-owned enterprise has also provided three entrance gatesto the location. The cooperation also built Tourism Security and Safety hall which is completed with space for bay-watch which functions as security post, health post, tourism information center and Kuta Beach Park security. Interestingly, in Kuta Beach Park of Mandalika area, there is also kids’ playgroundto support beach tourism desination which is friendly for kids.

The second information is that culture office ofSleman launches E-SIKS application.

Culture Office of Sleman, Yogyakarta in supporting vission and mission of Sleman regency implements"E-government" and provides prime service to community in cultural field in a bid to launch application of E-Sleman Cultural Information (E-SCI). Head of Culture Office ofSleman regency, Aji Wulantara said on Sunday that E-SCI is an application of 'one-day delivery service' which was officially innaugurated by Sleman Regent, Sri Purnomo on Thursday (21/6) and he also openedKetroprak Festival throughout Sleman regency. RegentSri Purnomo said that E-SCI service is technological application which functions to give prime service to the people on various things related to culture in Sleman.He also said that with the system, the culutural art groups in Sleman, who will get cultural service in Sleman, must not come to Sleman Culture Office, but they only do online access. So, the process becomes easier and faster. Sleman Regent, Sri Purnomo welcomed the launching of cultural service of Sleman regency, because it makes public easy to get accessedwith various information and service ofculture in Sleman.

Amorphophallus titanium or in local language, it’s called ‘Kibut’ is ready to bloom in breeding areabelonging to resident of Tebat Monok village, Kepahiang regency, Bengkulu province. Holidin, the owner of the breeding of rare flower said in Bengkulu on Sunday that based on the last measurement result, the height of the flower as protetcted rare flower reaches two meters. The breeding area of the giant flower has been opened to the public with free of charge. But, the management places donation box at the entrance gate for tourists who want to support their effort to preserve endemic flower of Sumatera island. Holidin also said that the location of blooming flower is quite easy to be accessed because it is on the road side of Bengkulu-Kepahiang city, which has a distance around 53 kilometersfrom Bengkulu city. Besides for Amorphophallus titanium breeding, he further said that at the location, various kinds of flowers, such as Amorphophallus gigas, Amorphophallus paeonifolius and Amorphophallus variables are bred. Besides Amorphophallus titanium, at the breeding location where the protected forest of Daun hill is located, Rafflesia arnoldii flower is also planted.
