Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Menparekraf/Kabaparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno officially closed the 2023 Indonesian Creation Appreciation (AKI) activities and advised all participants to strengthen collaboration in presenting quality products as well as creating business opportunities and employment opportunities for society.

Menparekraf Sandiaga in his speech at the peak event of AKI 2023 in Senayan Park, Jakarta, Sunday (11/9/2023) evening, said that the big theme of one of the flagship programs of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Baparekraf is collaboration.

"All this time we have been busy competing, we have forgotten that collaboration is our national identity and those who can collaborate will be able to produce achievements," said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga.

Appreciation of Indonesian Creation is a creative economy development program through capacity building and exhibitions for creative economy players in the culinary, craft, fashion, applications/games, film and music subsectors, held in 16 cities/regencies in Indonesia.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga said that these collaborations had been emphasized to the participants during the implementation of AKI 2023. Starting from bootcamps to exhibitions in each city. Therefore, Sandiaga encourages this collaboration to continue to be strengthened.

Not only for creative actors, but also between the central government and regional governments as well as the private sector and other related parties.

"The Indonesian Creative Appreciation has traveled over the last six months in 16 districts/cities from 6 islands in Indonesia. We can see how proud products have decorated the Indonesian Creative Appreciation. A total of more than 7,000 creative creative actors have participated, there are 428 brands and 28 "The best is now in Senayan Park, showing that Indonesian products are not inferior and are not 'canned'," said Sandiaga.

This must be a momentum to encourage MSMEs to 'move up in class' as well as an effort to accelerate the economy through MSMEs.

"We see all the enthusiasm to bring this very empowering activity to open up opportunities for new consumers from new subsectors," he said.

The peak event of AKI 2023 will last for three days from 8-10 September 2023 by presenting selected creative economy MSME products from 16 districts/cities implementing AKI 2023.

According to a release received by Voice of Indonesia on Monday, in this event, participants from the incubation program and creative villages were also presented by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Baparekraf to promote their products.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga appreciated the support from various parties, especially the community, because the implementation of the 2023 MMR peak had exceeded the projected target. The transaction value of MSMEs has reached IDR 400 million and is expected to continue to increase.

"And three participants from the film subsector received collaboration with the Indonesian online cinema OTT platform for their film works," said Sandiaga.

The peak of AKI 2023 was also lively because apart from the exhibition it was also filled with talk shows and a series of performances by Indonesian musicians. Such as Ayu Ting Ting, SMASH X Chibi Chibi, Titi DJ X Lyodra, Diskoria X Andien, and others.
