Vice President of Indonesia Ma'ruf Amin when innagurating Indonesia's pavillion at the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) -
Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin opened the Indonesian pavilion at the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) on Sunday (17/9) at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center (NICEC), Nanning, Guangxi, China. The Vice President inaugurated two pavilions, namely the Commodity Pavilion and the City of Charms of Indonesia Pavilion.
The Commodity Pavilion covers an area of 2,150 square meters in hall D15 featuring 84 booths which display the majority of Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products. According to the Vice President, the Commodity Pavilion is a window to showcase Indonesia excellence, in this case superior export products.
Ma'ruf further conveyed that the Commodities pavilion showed the products of 49 business actors who promoted products ranging from daily goods, food, beverage, fashion, accessories to home decoration and furniture.
Meanwhile, the City of Charms of Indonesia pavilion covered an area of 160 square meters in hall B2, displays the potential and superior products of Central Kalimantan, the largest province in Indonesia with rich culture, natural resources and is at the forefront of environmental protection.
According to Ma’ruf Amin, this is one more proof that CAEXPO is a trade promotion collaboration and continues to bring concrete and positive results for Indonesian, ASEAN and Chinese business people. Particularly, since 2020 when it was still a pandemic, ASEAN became China's biggest trading partner.
The Vice President affirmed Indonesia's presence at CAEXPO 2023 is a collaboration among the business community, associations and regional governments. The Vice President hopes that the City of Charms of Indonesia Pavilion can be a window for a of regional excellence and potential in Indonesia and encourage regional level economic cooperation between ASEAN and the People's Republic of China//VOI
