Human rights is one of the important issues in international relations that continues to become the attention of various countries now. Therefore, various countries in the world are expected to perform various actions related to the improvement of the implementation of human rights at the national level, one of them isthrough the strengthening of national human rights institutions. This was conveyed by Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs in herspeech at Jakarta International Conversation on Human Rights in Jakarta, Monday, February 5^th 2018.

"Concrete action at the national level should be undertaken by legislative and for institutional framework in the field of human rights must be pursued. The human rights agenda must be mainstreamed at the central and local government. National human rights institution must be strengthened, human rights campaign and education must be intensified," said Retno Marsudi .

Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi added that Indonesia for two decades has been trying to continue to strengthen the implementation of human rights at the national level. According to her, the national plan on human rights in Indonesia has reached the fourth generation since 1998 and will continue to be updated. At the international level, Indonesia itself up to now through its peace and humanitarian diplomacy continues to play an active role in promoting human rights and cooperation on the issue.///// (VOI/Rezha/AHM)
