Increasing the protection of children and women in various sectors has become the focus of President Joko Widodo's attention in the second period of his administration. Children and women are vulnerable to violence, so special attention and efforts are needed to protect them. It was said by Ghafur Dharmaputra, Deputy for the Coordination of Women and Children Protection, the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs, after the Diplomatic Forum talk show held by the Voice of Indonesia, in Jakarta, Tuesday (12/17).

"The point is that the president asks to pay more attention to the protection of children and women. Why? So the issue of protecting women and children is not because of their gender, women. But what we have to see is how we humanize humans, so how we pay attention to human rights. Therefore children cannot work. So, to eradicate child labor, it's not that you can't work, but to delete the work. So they still have to go to school. For example like that," said Ghafur Dharmaputra.

In addition, Gafur Akbar Dharmaputra also said that as one of the efforts to protect children and women, the Indonesian government also continues to encourage marriage socialization based on Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage.
