The Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia, Xiao Qian, said his country appreciated the medical aid provided by several countries, including Indonesia, in the process of handling the Corona virus outbreak, at a press conference held at his official residence in Jakarta on Tuesday (2/2/2020).

"As far as I know there are now dozens of countries, including Indonesia, which have provided a lot of assistance to China, including providing medical protective clothing, medical protective masks, isolation masks, isolation facial masks and others. We thank you for all your help. And we will continue to maintain an open and transparent principle and be responsible for cooperation with the international community," Ambassador Xiao Qian said. 

Ambassador Xiao Qian said that for foreigners who live in Hubei province, especially in quarantined cities, the Chinese government provides the same health services as the ones provided  for local citizens. (KBRN / RETNO / AHM)
