The Covid-19 Task Force updated on Wednesday, the number of patients recovering from the COVID-19 disease had increased by 4,510 this past month, summing up to 214,947 people have recovered from the virus since March 2020.
Based on data compiled as of Wednesday at 12.00 WIB, confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 have also increased to 4,284 to 287,008 cases. Meanwhile, the death toll increased by 139 people to 10,740 people.
South Sulawesi reported 374 new recovered cases with 78 positive cases and 4 deaths, West Java 371 people recovered with 446 positive people and 15 people died, East Java 350 new recovered cases with 294 positive people and 30 people died.
Next, Banten recorded 280 cases recovered with 144 confirmed positive and 1 case died, East Kalimantan 251 people recovered with 213 positive people and 19 people died, while Riau recorded 246 people recovered with 352 positive cases and 8 people reported dying from COVID-19.
There are 4 provinces that reported new cases under 10, and 1 province today reported no additional cases, Maluku.
The Task Force also recorded 132,693 suspects in 497 districts/cities that have been affected in 34 provinces.
On Wednesday, 45,496 specimens have been examined, making the total number of specimens examined, using both real-time PCR (polymerase chain reaction) and molecular rapid test (TCM) is 3,321,989 specimens accumulatively. (Antaranews)
