Indonesian Motor Association provincial board (IMI) of Southeast Sulawesi built an international motor racing circuit, located in the Nanga-Nanga area, Kendari city.
The location of the international motor racing circuit, which will spend a budget of tens of billions, has a track length of two kilometers and has received approval from the Central IMI Executive Board (PB) in Jakarta.
The head of the IMI Southeast Sulawesi Province, Anton Timbang, to RRI Kendari on Tuesday (Oct 6) said that the circuit is built multifunctional so that lovers of motorbike racing can compete for their achievements with various types of competitions.
Meanwhile, the general chairman of the Southeast Sulawesi KONI, Agista Ariyani Bombay, said that the construction of sports facilities and infrastructure is a commitment to raise the spirit of achieving sports achievements.
It is hoped that the construction of an international motor racing circuit in the city of Kendari can spur the enthusiasm of motorbike racing athletes, who have been showing achievements at the national level. (RRI)
