Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi inaugurated the official website of the Indonesian, Latin America and Caribbean Business Forum (INA-LAC), "www.ina-lac.com" to facilitate the promotion of export products and 108 investment projects in Indonesia for entrepreneurs and investors from the central and southern regions of America.
"The launching of the INA-LAC digital platform is one of the tools to promote domestic products, investment opportunities, and information about business and economic development in two regions," said Retno Marsudi in her opening remarks when opening the INA-LAC 2020, in Jakarta, on Monday.
She hopes that the website can meet all the needs of the business community from the two regions so that in the future Indonesia and countries in Latin America and the Caribbean can increase economic cooperation as well as strengthen business communication through more effective ways.
In addition to information on export products, investment projects, and economic development, the INA-LAC.com website also offers a virtual business meeting feature for entrepreneurs from Indonesia and the business community in Latin America and the Caribbean.
"This platform will meet the needs of 24 hours / 7 days of interaction through virtual spaces for business people from Indonesia and Latin America and the Caribbean," said the Director General for American and European Affairs of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I Gede Ngurah Swajaya in his remarks at the same event.
She explained that her party would complete the data available on the website in the future, especially related to the number and types of export products as well as investment-ready projects from the two regions.
There are at least 10 investment fields offered through this website, including the agricultural sector, industrial estate development and management, infrastructure, logistics, manufacturing, property, special economic zones, tourism, manufacturing and tourism, and transportation.
The information on the page shows that there are more than 30 investment projects in tourism offered to foreign investors.
East Java is one of the provinces that offers quite a lot of ready-to-invest tourism projects, which include the construction of Wonocolo Geopark Park, Pasir Putih Foodcourt, Ori Green Amusement Park, Marina Boom Banyuwangi Amusement Park, Pasir Putih Marine Park Situbondo, Hotel Pacitan, Hotel Marina Boom Banyuwangi, Eco Park Recreation Park Marina Boom Banyuwangi, Bromo Volcanic Park, and Agro Wilis Inn.
