A total of 425,313 people or about 84 percent of all COVID-19 patients in Indonesia, a total of 506,302 people, have been declared cured according to data from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force on Tuesday at 12.00 WIB.
Data from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force shows that patients who recovered from corona virus infection increased by 2,927 to a total of 425,313 people and the number of people confirmed to have COVID-19 increased by 4,192 to a total of 506,302 people.
DKI Jakarta recorded the highest number of recovered patients (1,060 people), followed by West Java (428 people), Central Java (300 people), East Java (157 people), and East Kalimantan (132 people).
The provincial regions that recorded the most number of COVID-19 cases on Tuesday were DKI Jakarta with 1,015 cases followed by Central Java (928 cases), East Java (354 cases), West Java (299 cases), and Banten (144 cases).
According to data from the Task Force, the number of new COVID-19 cases in Aceh, North Maluku, Gorontalo, West Sulawesi and East Nusa Tenggara is less than 10 and Maluku has not experienced an increase in cases.
Meanwhile, the number of patients who died from COVID-19 was recorded to have increased by 109 people to a total of 16,111 people throughout Indonesia. (Antaranews)
