The government continues to monitor preparations for the G20 Summit in Bali, next November. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the progress of the G20 preparations was going well.
"Preparation progress is quite good, working groups, engagement groups. We continue to monitor the presence of state leaders, but these two months have been quite good," said Airlangga after meeting the President at the Palace, Tuesday (13/9/2022).
Several heads of state have already declared their presence at the G20. There are still leaders of countries waiting for his presence, such as Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The G20 presidency with Indonesia as the host invited many countries. In addition to big countries, archipelagic countries and small countries were also invited.
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially invited Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The Head of State extended a direct invitation to President Zelensky to participate in the G20 Summit. (RRI)
