The closing was officially carried out by Hisham Al Taher, General Secretary of the Asian Chess Federation. Although Indonesia has not yet reached the top three, the General Chair of PB Percasi, GM Utut Adianto, appreciates the struggle of Indonesian junior chess players.

"Organizing a tournament like this is to lay the fundamentals for our chess players in the future. When it comes to chess for the Asian region, the competition is quite tough. We must give our junior players the opportunity to dare to face great fighters from outside," he said.

According to him, Asia has many very strong athletes. Good training, competitive opportunities, and continuous evaluation will make Indonesian athletes better.

"We have to do this cycle of three things continuously, don't let it be interrupted. For example, holding the AYCC tournament," he said. (RRI)
