Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Promotes Indonesian MICE Destinations at "AIME 2024" Australia

Voinews, Melbourne - The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf) is again participating in the leading tourism exhibition for organizing international meetings and event industries in the Asia Pacific region, namely the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME), which took place on 19-19 February 21, 2024 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia.

Kemenparekraf/Baparekraf is present with the "Wonderful Indonesia" pavilion and facilitates Indonesian Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Events (MICE) industry players, namely Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali, Hyatt Resorts Bali, Atlas Beach Club, Hyatt Resort Bali, Melia Bali, Melaka Nusa Dua, Movenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, Whiterock Beach Club, Bintan Resort, The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas, Atlas Beach Club, Bintan Resort, Discova.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Menparekraf/Kabaparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno in his statement in Melbourne, Tuesday (20/2/2024), said that Indonesia has an international scale MICE destination supported by accommodation facilities, transportation, and international standard meeting hall.

With Indonesia's presence at AIME 2024, it is hoped that it can promote MICE destinations in Indonesia and encourage visits by Australian tourists to Indonesia.

"And AIME 2024 connects MICE industry players from Australia and from other parts of the world," said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga.

According to a release received by Voice of Indonesia on Wednesday (21/02/24), the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy also hopes that the transactions that occur at the Wonderful Indonesia booth during AIME activities will be effective in bringing in foreign exchange.

"At least many industry players got _appointment_ with the _buyers_ who were present at AIME," said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga.
