VOINews, Jakarta: PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) is offering special promotions, including discounts of up to 25% on Whoosh high-speed rail tickets, at the KAI Expo 2024. The event, held in Jakarta from 16–17 November 2024, provides an opportunity for travelers to experience Indonesia’s first high-speed train at a more affordable price.
“Groups of at least 20 passengers can enjoy discounts of up to 25%,” said Eva Chairunisa, General Manager Corporate Secretary of KCIC, in Jakarta on Saturday. The discount is exclusively available for tickets purchased at the KCIC booth during the expo.
The discounted tickets are ideal for tourism trips, group gatherings, and educational programs. For Edu Wisata programs, KCIC is offering additional services, including educational sessions for students to learn more about modern railway technology and transportation systems introduced by Whoosh.
“At KAI Expo 2024, visitors can explore various services and take advantage of special programs offered by Whoosh, Indonesia’s first high-speed train,” Eva explained. “Through this initiative, we hope to encourage more people to experience comfortable and modern travel with Whoosh, whether for leisure, gatherings, or educational purposes.”
KCIC’s booth also features engaging games where visitors can win exclusive prizes, such as Whoosh souvenirs and travel vouchers to various destinations. This interactive approach aims to attract more visitors to learn about and experience the benefits of Whoosh services.
Since its commercial launch in October 2023, Whoosh has served 6.3 million passengers up to November 2024. KCIC continues to innovate to enhance the quality of service for its passengers, ensuring a reliable and comfortable travel experience.
Eva highlighted the environmentally friendly aspects of Whoosh as a modern transportation mode that supports sustainable mobility while providing a safe and efficient travel option.
