Indonesia's COVID-19 Positives Increased To 373.109 Cases

Positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported through the Task Force for Handling COVID-19, Wednesday at 12.00 WIB increased by 4,267 cases, bringing the total COVID-19 cases in Indonesia to 373,109 cases.

 

Based on data from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force received in Jakarta, the number of recovered patients per day has increased by 3,856 people, so that the total number of COVID-19 patients who have recovered is 297,509.

 

Meanwhile, for cases of confirmed positive COVID-19 patients who have died, there have now increased by 123 people, bringing 12,857 deaths. This number is obtained from the specimens examined per day 43,586 samples.

 

With this increase, the cumulative number of specimens examined in Indonesia reached 4,167,210 specimens. The total number of suspects per day is 162,216 people.

 

Then, COVID-19 has infected 34 provinces in the country, covering 501 districts and cities.

 

The addition of new positive cases today was mostly reported in DKI Jakarta with 1,000 cases, West Java 657 cases, Central Java 374 cases, East Java 327 cases, Riau 313 cases, West Sumatra 279 cases, East Kalimantan 183 cases, and Banten 171 cases.

 

In addition, there are six provinces that reported the addition of new cases under 10 people with two of them without cases at all. The two provinces are West Kalimantan and Papua.

 

East Java Province is the region with the most deaths per day, namely 24 people. Then DKI Jakarta followed with 21 deaths, West Java 16 deaths, and Central Java 13 deaths.

 

Meanwhile, the province that reported the most recovered patients today was DKI Jakarta with 1,072 recovered, followed by West Java with 550 recovered cases, Central Java with 380 recovered cases, and East Java with 315 recovered cases.

 

 

As of today, the cumulative data on positive COVID-19 cases in Indonesia mostly occurred in DKI Jakarta with 97,217 cases followed by East Java with 49,801 cases, West Java with 31,907 cases, Central Java with 30,218 cases, and South Sulawesi with 17,690 cases.

 

Most recovered patients were reported in DKI Jakarta with 82,085 people, East Java with 43,671 people, Central Java with 24,704 people, West Java with 21,371 people, and South Sulawesi with 15,322 people.

 

Meanwhile, the highest number of deaths occurred in East Java, namely 3,606 people, followed by DKI Jakarta 2,089 people, Central Java 1,620 people, West Java 616, North Sumatra 509 people and South Kalimantan 459 people. (Antaranews)
