President Joko Widodo played badminton with Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. Both played badminton when visiting Indonesian National Army (TNI) Headquarters in Cilangkap, Jakarta on Thursday, May 3, 2018.

The President said that friendship between countries is not always done in a formal forum only. Playing badminton is according to the President is one form of soft diplomacy.
