The series of activities in Chile ended with the closing of APEC 2019 Minister Responsible in Trade MRT. In the MRT meeting , Indonesian Trade Minister emphasized the importance of implementing THE APEC work program in the digital economy to narrow the gap among economic members.

In an occasion, Minister of Trade of Indonesia, Enggartiasto Lukita said "We are facing uncertainty and decline in economic growth. It is only important for us to continue our engagement in APEC so that we can grow and develop together."

Aside of the meeting of Minister Responsible in Trade, MRT, APEC  2019 in Chile,  Minister of Trade Enggartiasto met the  Chilean Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for trade field of Rodrigo Yáñez Benítez, saturday. Both countries agreed to utilize Indonesia and Chile CEPA as soon as possible.
