The Indonesian Embassy promotes Indonesian excellent products to Argentinian people
The Indonesian Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina held an Indonesian Corner Exhibition to introduce and promote Indonesia's excellent products to Argentinian people. In its written statement received by Antara in Jakarta on Saturday (31/10), the embassy reported that the exhibition called ‘Rincon de Indonesia’ (Indonesian Corner) was inaugurated by Indonesian Ambassador to Argentina, Niniek Kun Naryatie. The exhibition corner displayed some excellent Indonesian products which are well known in Argentina, including instant noodles, kencur rice drink, Mandailing coffee, medicine and tires. Ambassador Niniek explained that the presence of the Indonesia Corner is to introduce Indonesian products closer to potential buyers. She further explained that the Argentinian people could see, hold, and feel the products. So, they feel confident with the products they will buy.
Moreover, Ambassador Niniek noted that Indonesia Corner is also present in many virtual exhibitions held in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay to provide personalized services, localized products and digitized information. The Indonesian Embassy in Buenos Aires recorded that more than 70 Argentinian business people virtually witnessed the inauguration of the Indonesian Corner after the 2020 Indonesian Business Forum which was held by the Indonesian Embassy. The Argentinian business people consist of exported and imported entrepreneurs, vice chamber of commerce ,business association, the press, service providers, and local business actors who are interested in doing business with Indonesia.
Furthermore, along with representatives of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Sao Paulo's Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), Ambassador Niniek announced about various opportunities for entrepreneurs in Argentina to do business with Indonesian entrepreneurs through the Indonesian Trade Exhibition (Trade Expo Indonesia -TEI) and the Indonesian Business Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean (INA-AC) which will be held virtually in early November 2020. The embassy is also committed to continuously promoting and disseminating information in regard with market opportunities for Indonesian businessmen in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, particularly to enhance strategic industrial cooperation.
