Indonesian Air Force Chief of Staff (KSAU) Marshal Yuyu Sutisna told Media on the sidelines of Indonesia Air Force Leadership Meeting 2018 at the Air Force Headquarters, Cilangkap, Jakarta, Friday (26/01) the purchase of Sukhoi Su-35 fighter aircraft from Russia will be based on the set schedule. Based on the strategic plan data from the Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan), the purchase of Sukhoi fighter will be done with a commodity exchange system from Indonesia.

“Our Sukhoi Su 35 is still on the way, there is no effect, I haven’t heard anything. What is clear is still the way. As stated by the TNI Commander, we are still on the way and I expect by February 2018 we will sign the contract,” Marshal Yuyu Sutisna.

In order to improve the security of the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, the Indonesian Air Force will establish Air Force Operations Command III. It was disclosed by Air Force Chief of Staff (KSAU) Marshal Yuyu Sutisna to Media on the sidelines of the Indoensian Air Force Leadership Meeting 2018 at Air Force Headquarters, Cilangkap, Jakarta, Friday (26/01). Yuyu hoped that the Air Force Operations Command III can be realized immediately.

“It is already in the Strategic Plan (Renstra) of the establishment of the Air Force Operation Command III (Koopsau III). What we are forming, when and so on. It is expected that this year the organization can be proposed at least this first Quarter. The commander specifies that the Indonesian Air Force had to form the command. Indonesian Army has made the Division there and the Indonesian Navy has formed the Eastern Fleet. We want to fix it all as well so that the formation of the Air Force Operations Command can be effective and efficient,” Marshal Yuyu Sutisna said.

Marshal Yuyu Sutisna explained that the Air Force Chief Planning Assistant is currently reviewing the establishment of the Air Force Operations Command III. The 117.5 km long second Stage of Tour de Indonesia 2018 starting from Madiun city to the town of Mojokerto, East Java, was won by and Indonesian rider Abdul Gani who joined in KFC Cycling Team Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The rainy weather during the stage 2, did not make the riders lowered their bike riding, they remained stable at the speed of 50-60 km per hour. The crowds rafted along the highway to the city of Mojokerto, making them more excited. Tight competition among riders was finally won by Abdul Gani followed by 2 Malaysian riders in the 2nd and the 3rd, Mohammad Shahrul Mat Amin from Trengganu Pro Asia Cycling Team and Muhammad Nur Aiman ​​bin Mohd Zariff from Sapura Cycling Team. In a press conference to the journalists, Abdul Gani was excited about the 2nd stage and thanked the team that supported him.

With this victory Abdul Gani deserves purple jersey in the second stage. While the 2nd Winner Mohammad Shahrul Mat Amin from Trengganu Pro Asia Cycling Team is entitled to have Ivory jersey. At the 18 Asian Games which will be held from August 18 to September 2, Jakarta will receive tens of thousands of guests, such as athletes, coaches, officials and other supporting personnel. Some 9.5 thousand athletes; 2.5 thousand personnel of the Asian Olympic Council; and 5.5 thousand technical delegates from 45 countries will participate, or be involved, in the event.
