President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) expressed Indonesia's readiness to support Bangladesh in achieving the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) outbreak target in 2024.
"Indonesia is ready to support the achievement of these targets, including by enhancing mutually beneficial economic and trade cooperation," said President Jokowi during a bilateral meeting with Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Credential Hall, Bangabhan Presidential Palace.
 
Indonesia also expressed its readiness to open market access to enhance trade cooperation with Bangladesh.
"Through the creation of _Preferential Trade Agreement," he said.
 
In addition the two heads of states also discussed the development situation of Rakhine State. Indonesian government and people will always have a commitment and give attention  to help overcome the humanitarian crisis.
 
"I also welcome the Bangladesh government's repatriation agreement with the government of Myanmar, I hope the implementation of the agreement can be voluntary, honorable and safe," said President Jokowi.
President Jokowi also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome  during his visit to Bangladesh, including his planned visit to Cox's Bazar Sunday. .
 
"Thank you for Your Excellency President Abdul Hamid's honor, an honor to make a visit to Bangladesh for the first time," said President Jokowi.
 
Meanwhile Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said that Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid reiterated that Indonesia is close to Bangladesh. "Because Indonesia is the first country to recognize the independence of Bangladesh and this service will never be forgotten by the people of Bangladesh," said Retno.
In the future, said Retno, the two leaders agreed that economic cooperation would be a priority for the relations between the two countries.
 
After the bilateral meeting, President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo witnessed a cultural meeting and a dinner with President Abdul Hamid and the First Lady of Bangladesh Rasyidah Khanam.

After flying two hours and 40 minutes, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, Bangladesh at 16:20 local time or 17.20 West Indonesia Time by Indonesian Presidential plane-1 on Saturday, January 27, 2018.
 
At the airport, President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana were greeted by Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid and First Lady Rashidah Khanam. After that President Jokowi and the President of Bangladesh headed for Honorary Dais to attend the state ceremony. 
In the afternoon, President Jokowi received an honorary visit of Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali at the hotel where the President is staying.
 
President Jokowi's meeting with Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid was held at the Credential Hall, Bangabhan Presidential Palace in the evening and ended with a dinner.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) held a bilateral meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at Prime Minister's House on Saturday, January 27, 2018.
 
President Jokowi believes his state visit to Pakistan will be a new glue to strengthen the cooperation and friendship of both countries. Therefore, President Jokowi focuses on three major bilateral issues, namely economic cooperation, inter-community relations and cooperation for Palestine.
 
President Jokowi said that the total trade value after the implementation of Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between the two countries has increased significantly since 2013. In 2016 reached USD2, 1 billion or an increase of ± 8.9% per year.
 
Other sectors of negotiations, such as services and investments can begin after the goods sector agreement is implemented. To continuously increase the trade, President Jokowi welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in the Joint Trade Promotion.
 
"In the field of investment, I welcome the formation of 'Joint Venture'  and processing of palm oil in Port of Qosim, Karachi. This cooperation will be able to make Pakistan the trading center of palm oil and its preparations in South and Central Asia region, "said the President.
 
Indonesia will export LNG to Pakistan for 10 years, with an additional option of 5 years, 1.5 million tons / year.
 
"Indonesia is also looking forward to strengthening future energy cooperation such as the possibility of investing Indonesian companies to build LNG regasification facilities and sharing experiences and expertise in environmentally friendly energy utilization," said President Jokowi.
 
In addition, in a business meeting held on January 26, the transaction value of USD 115 million, among others, increased trade in the areas of oil palm, coal, cocoa, coffee, tea and others.
Another thing that is also discussed in the meeting is strengthening the relationship between the two countries, including increasing the flow of tourists and the business world. Both leaders agreed the two-state business world should be glued together.
 
At the end of the meeting, President Jokowi called for joint support for the Palestinians. To that end, President Jokowi reminds the Prime Minister to always hold the lobby to get support for Palestinian independence for the sake of humanity and justice.

On the fourth day of his five-nation visit, on Saturday, January 27, 2018, Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was welcomed by Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at Prime Minister's House, Islamabad, Pakistan. After the state ceremony, President Jokowi held a Tete-a-Tete meeting with PM Abbasi. The event was then followed by a bilateral meeting, the signing of a memorandum of understanding on energy and trade, ending with a luncheon with PM Abbasi. All these activities are held at the Prime Minister's Office, PM House. At noon at approximately 12:30 pm Local Time or 14:30 West Indonesia TIme, President and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo with the entourage will continue the state visit to the fourth country, namely Bangladesh.
