President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is optimistic that in the next 2025 the process of land certification throughout Indonesia will be completed. To that end, President Jokowi urged the National Land Agency (BPN) office to continue to raise the target of completing the issuance of land certificates from year to year.

"Next year I ask for 5 million, next year I will ask for 7 million, next year I will ask for 9 million, next year again 12 million, next year will continue to rise. So that our target in 2025 for all of Indonesia whose names are completed, God willing, will be completed, "said President Jokowi when delivering a speech on the submission of 3,200 land certificates to the people, at Tri Dharma PT Petrokimia GOR, Gresik Regency, East Java, Thursday (6/20) noon

According to the Head of State, in 2015 the certificate held by the community should reach 126 million parcels of land. But in reality, at that time only 46 million plots of land had been certified. The remaining 80 million land parcels have not been certified.

"Previously, in the past one year it could only produce 500 thousand per year, in Indonesia 500 thousand. If it is lacking 80 million, it means it is 160 years old. 80 million, a year is only 500 thousand, meaning that the use of this certificate must wait 160 years, "said the Head of State.

Therefore, President Jokowi conveyed to the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR) / Head of BPN that this could not be continued. He asked the ATR Minister / Head of the National Land Agency to be able to complete the land certification target as stated.

"Earlier, the Minister of BPN had promised, the promise of the Minister, you know, Gresik 2024 was all over. The Minister promised, I just have to promise, all of you also promise, "said the President.

To the people who already hold the land certificate, the Head of State entrusted the message to be covered in plastic so that if the tiles were leaked, the certificate would not be damaged. The second is photocopied so that the original one is  missing, still the copy exist. Managing it to the BPN office is easy.

Thirdly, the Head of State reminded, so be careful if you want to be used for collateral, for collateral to the bank.

"Please count first, it is calculated before you can install it or not, you can install it or not. If the count doesn't come in, don't borrow, don't use it for collateral. We just received it today, tomorrow at the bank, right? "Because you are in a hurry to get a loan, keep forgetting that it's not counted, you can't pay it off, you lost the certificate ," said the Head of State.
