The government of Tangerang city, Banten province cooperated with International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) to implement low emission development. The cooperation is marked by signing a Memorandum of Understanding -MoU which is valid until 2020. Mayor of Tangerang, Arief R Wismansyah said in Tangerang on Tuesday (13/2) that Tangerang city and the council will arrange the preparation of urban development program which focuses on low emission development. According to Arief R Wismansyah, the programs are reduction of greenhouse emission, namely by making absorption wells or biopori, regreening and reduction of traffic jam. International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives is an international organization. Its members are cities in the world. It aims at preventing and solving environment’s problems in local, regional and global scope. Representatives of the Council, Slamet Dorayni and Gina Karina conveyed their appreciation on the government of Tangerang city’s commitment to implementing environmentally friendly city. Gina explained, with this cooperation, in the near future, the government of Tangerang city can implement low emission city in effort to be one of environmentally friendly cities in the world, especially in reducing emission.

Solok Radjo of Arabica coffee which in 2018 is able to penetrate the US market. This was stated by Head of Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises Office of West Sumatera, Zirma Yusri in Padang on Tuesday (13/2). According to Zirma Yusri, this year, the Arabica coffee will be exported to the USA. The market of the coffee product is higlighted in exhibitions in some countries which introduced the Solok Radjo coffee to the world. In addition, the review from Q grader has helped the introduction of the product to the coffee lovers. Zirma also said that the coffee has typical aroma and taste. It has fresh sour flavor, mixed with sweet flavor. The coffee has also spicy fragrant. The typical taste and aroma have made the coffee popular among the coffee lovers, not only in West Sumatera but also in Indonesia, even in the world. According to Zirma, the Solok Radjo Coffee is developed by a young man, the owner of coffee plantation in  Solok, Alfridiansyah. He has formed a cooperative to ease the product’s processing since 2014. Currently, the cooperative has hundreds of members. Most of them are coffee farmers. Now, the coffee begins to penetrate international market and the farmers in Solok begin to feel the result of their effort.

Batam is ready to develop Putri island. The government of Batam city, Riau islands provided regulation for tourism development in Indonesia's outer island, namely Putri island. This island borders with Singapore and Malaysia. Mayor of Batam, Muhammad Rudi said in Batam on Tuesday(13/2) that  tourism development of Putri island will be harmonized with Zoning Plan of Coastal Zone and Small Islands whose regional regulations are now being drafted by the Riau Provincial Government. The Mayor also said that the city’s government will develop marine tourism, especially to optimize beach as tourism destination and to increase International tourist arrivals. According to the Mayor, there are potential beaches to be developed on the main and supporting islands, including surrounding Putri island. So far, most tourists have come from Singapore and Malaysia to Batam to shop in the city. Mayor Muhammad Rudi emphasized on the government’s seriousness to develop tourism industry and to support the people’s economy. The government of Batam city is improving the city’s infrastructure.  According to Mayor Muhammad Rudi, the main task of the government is to build infrastructure to make tourists feel comfortable during their stay in the outermost city in Indonesia.

Media Indonesia wrote “Time to Uphold Commitment for Indonesia.”

Indonesian Chinese Association invited all to have the Chinese New Year 2569 as time to renew and uphold the commitment for Indonesia, based on Pancasila ideology, 1945 Constitutions, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The invitation was stated by the Indonesian Chinese Association as a form of love for the country. In the invitation, they reminded that Chinese New Year is a perfect moment to strengthen loyalty to Indonesia, Pancasila, and 1945 Constitutions as guidance for life in diversity. That was stated by Chairman of Indonesian Chinese Association, Teddy Sugianto in Jakarta on Wednesday (14/2). Teddy Sugianto also invited the people to celebrate the Chinese New Year modestly and solemnly, as well as to use it to get closer to God. The Chinese New Year, Teddy Sugianto said, must also be a moment to enhance empathy for all.

 

While Republika wrote “Indonesian Police Chief Instructed Regional Police to Guard Ulema”.

 

Indonesian Police Chief Tito Karnavian at the Vice President Office in Jakarta on Wednesday (14/2) said, the police will carry out preventive efforts after the attacks against religious figures recently. He claimed to have instructed the regional police across the country to increase security around worship houses. On the past attacks, Chief Tito Karnavian said the police will investigate more deeply the case to find if the cases are related.

 

Kompas wrote “House: KPK Must Be Monitored”.

 

The House of Representatives’ Inquiry Committee suggested Corruption Eradication Commission -KPK to form independent supervisory institution. The institution consisting members from KPK and integrity figures is needed to create check and balance. The supervisory institution forming is one of ten recommendations from the Inquiry Committee and had been announced during House’s Plenary Session in Jakarta, Wednesday (14/2). However, KPK did not attend the session. Instead, KPK sent a letter to the Speaker of the House and Inquiry Committee. In the letter, KPK stated to be appreciating the works of Inquiry Committee, despite of some disagreements on the report. KPK will only carry out relevant recommendations to be implemented in a bid to strengthen the institution and the corruption eradication efforts.

This is RRI World Service-Voice of Indonesia with Diplomatic Corner, a program which presents information about activities and progress of Indonesian diplomacy in the international world.

 

The first information is about Senegal which invites Boalemo regency in Gorontalo province to cooperate in Arenga pinnata tree.

Indonesia is committed to helping Senegal in the processing of Arenga pinnata three. Because it is important and efficient to be applied in  Senegal. This was stated by representative of special envoy office of Indonesian president for Middle East and Organization of Islamic Cooperation, M. Amar Ma'ruf when meeting with the leader of Fond Sovereign Senegal in Dakar earlier this weekend.  Amar Ma'ruf disclosed that Senegal is worth being paid attention for receiving reverse linkage program related to Arenga pinnata processing. With the existence of reverse linkage, it is hoped to be able to enrich reference and application of appropriate technology applications  for Senegal. Senegal feels Indonesia is  development model, especially in  research of forestry and agricultural products. As a follow-up, Fond Sovereign Senegal  will visit Boalemo regency to study the cooperation. The visit will be conducted in April before  Indonesia - Africa forum 2018 takes place.

The next information is from Kuwait. Indonesian Ambassador to Kuwait, Tatang Budie Utama Razak has received a mandate as chairman of ASEAN’s committee in Kuwait for the period of January-June 2018. The mandate’s assignment was directly handed over by chairman of ASEAN’s committee in Kuwait for 2017 period, Ambassador of the Philippines to Kuwait, Renato Pedro O. Villa, and witnessed by the Ambassadors of ASEAN member countries at the Philippines embassy in Kuwait on Thursday (8/2). The appointment of Indonesia as the chairman of ASEAN’s committee in Kuwait this year is to replace Singapore which does not have embassy in Kuwait. In his speech, Ambassador Tatang Razak said that he will carry out his duty for 6 months and there is possibility that he will end his duty as ambassador in Kuwait within few months. Because he has been on duty more than 3 years. In addition, Ambassador Tatang Razak also said that he will maintain events which have run so far. One step ahead from the chairmanship of Indonesia is Ambassador Tatang Razak’s proposal that this year will begin informal lunch which according to the plan will be conducted every month by inviting honor guests in the field of politic, economy, culture and social spheres in order ASEAN  committee in Kuwait can discuss matters which are more substantive.

Diplomatic Corner with information on ‘Tak Tun Tuang’ a musical diplomacy succeeded to attract Thailand’s market in Thai International Travel Fair 2018 in Bangkok. The Ministry of Tourism reported that as many as 10 tourism industries and 1tourism office of Indonesia participated in  the exhibition in Bangkok. Besides, there are also tourism travel bureaus, travel operators, and hotel entrepreneurs from Bali, Central Java, West Java, East Nusa Tenggara, Yogyakarta, and North Sumatra. The promotion, which has depended on branding and advertising so far, begins to move on selling. The main mission is to capture foreign tourists at tourism market of Thailand. One of the ways to attract tourists is by showing Sasando, a musical instrument from East Nusa Tenggara province, and also Indonesian traditional dances. The biggest tourism exhibition is quite different when Wonderful Indonesia art team performed on the main stage. One of Sasando preservers from Oebelo, Kupang, Djitron Pah sang a song ‘Tak Tun Tuang’ from West Sumatra which is very famous and the song has ever been sung by famous singers of Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.  President of Thai Travel Agents Association, Suparerk Soorangura assessed that the music and dances were spectacular. He said at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok on Saturday (10/2) that tempting tourist through music is smart way. Although Thailand is professional rival of Wonderful Indonesia, Thailand does respect Indonesia.

We begin with Kompas which wrote, "Beware of Identity Politics".

 

The Simultaneous Regional Election 2018 has entered the stage of electoral number. Although the campaign will begin on February 15, the political tension has already increased in several regions. Primordial sentiments, including ethnicity, religion, or region, occur in various regions to attack other candidates. The candidates who did not pass the qualification also brought political dynamics in several areas. Currently, the Election Supervisory Agency -Bawaslu also has received report on religiously offensive banners on Governor and Deputy Governor Election in West Kalimantan. In the social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, there are posts on election, by using primordial or religious sentiments. The primordial issues that drive people's votes, according to professor of Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic State University Jakarta, Azyumardi Azra, is not healthy for national integrity. The issue will cause discrimination towards fellow citizens and this is contradicting to the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.

 

Media Indonesia wrote, "Interfaith Tolerance Non-Negotiable".

 

The people of Indonesia have lived together for years in various faiths. The constitution even guarantees freedom of faith. Therefore, President Joko Widodo emphasized that there is no place for people who are unable to grasp tolerance. That was stated responding to the recent attacks against religious figures. President added, the attack must not happen in this country, but it all happens due to information openness. Previously, several religious sentiment-based attacks occurred in the country.

Presidential Special Envoy for Interfaith and Civilization Dialog and Cooperation, Din Syamsuddin condemned the attacks against several religious figures and church in Sleman, Yogyakarta province. Din Syamsuddin asked the people to be aware of instability-inducing systematic efforts. Therefore, he encouraged the security apparatus to seriously investigate and reveal who are and what behind the incident is. If not solved, the attacks are potentially causing reactions that end with chaos. Meanwhile, Minister of Religious Affairs, Lukman Hakim Syaifuddin asked law enforcers to be more serious in investigating the motive of the attacks.

President Joko Widodo officially opened the Working Meeting of Indonesian Representative Heads with the Foreign Affairs Ministry in Jakarta, Monday (12/5). According to President Joko Widodo, the peace diplomacy by Indonesia received appreciation by the world leaders, namely Palestinian President, Iranian President, and Afghanistan President. In regard to fulfilling the constitutional mandate Indonesia also continously assist the peace and development in various countries such as Palestine, Afghanistan, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. President Joko Widodo asked Foreign Affairs Minister and all representative heads to continue Indonesian contribution for peace and humanity. As a country with most moderate and plural Muslim population, as well as third biggest country in the world, the President said Indonesia has responsibility to be part of global solution. President emphasized, the people of Indonesia hoped their diplomats can fight for the interests of Indonesia. Therefore, new approach of diplomacy must be adjusted to the current challenges. Diplomacy must be quick and responsive. 

More than 600 people visited Indonesian Pavilion during international tourism promotion event entitled "La Borsa Internazionale del Turismo (BIT) Milano 2018' in Milano, Italy, on Sunday (11/2). In BIT Milano 2018, Indonesian Embassy in Rome as the Indonesian Pavilion coordinator cooperated with six tour operators from Italy and Indonesia, with various services and destination. The press statement of Indonesian Embassy in Rome, as quoted by Antara in Jakarta, Monday (12/2) stated, besides Bali and Lombok that had long been well-known, Tanjung Puting, Komodo Island, Tana Toraja, and Raja Ampat received more attention during the biggest tourism expo in Italy.

Trade Atache of the Indonesian Embassy, Sumber Sinabutar, believed the support for Indonesian tour industry promotion will not only increase foreign tourist visits, but also double the positive impact for Indonesian service trade. Besides that, Indonesian Ad Interim Charge d'Affaires Charles Hutapea said, integrated promotion is a key that makes Indonesia becoming more widely known in Italy. Currently, Italy is the fifth biggest source of foreign tourists from Western Europe to Indonesia.

Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati received award as the World's Best Minister during World Government Summit 2018 held at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The award was given by the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates recently. The Best Minister Award held since 2016, is an annual global award given to ministers around the globe.  The selection process was carried out independently by Ernst & Young and held by the World Governemnt Summit. The Summit itself is an annual meeting held in Dubai, attended by goverment heads from accross the globe. They discuss government process and public policies, as well as their relation to technology, innovation, economic policy, and many others. The aim was to improve the lives of 7 billion global residents and pursuit happiness for all people.

Indonesian Finance Minster Sri Mulyani in her remark said the award was a recognition of Indonesian government's collective effort under President Joko Widodo, especially in economy. She also dedicated the awards for 257 million people of Indonesia and more than 78 thousand staffs of Finance Ministry who had worked hard to manage state finance with high integrity and commitment to create equal and just people's welfare.

February 13 is annually celebrated as World Radio Day. The role of radio is recognized to be important, because radio can reach wide community quickly. Representative of Palangkaraya Diocese, Pastor Subandi, after "Kalimantan Tengah Menyapa" dialog at Palangkaraya RRI on Tuesday (13/2) said, the merits of radio must be used for educating people, especially on environmental issues. He explained, radio nowadays must keep innovating to be accepted by listeners. The increasing number of social media becomes rivals of radio. However, He also said, the social media is relatively limited, because not all people join it. He added that radio also plays a strategic role in educating people to be not easily provoked by invalidated issues spread in social media. Pastor Subandi hopes, radio can be used to spread useful information for people's welfare.

Youths of Central Aceh, initiated by the National Committee of Indonesian Youth and the Indonesian Nationalist Student Movement, held a seminar on the dangers of drugs at Takengon Arts Building on Tuesday (13/2). Chair of the organizing Committee, Mulyadi, amidst the seminar said, the event was held based on the spirit of the youths to prevent drug abuse that currently is getting more and more worrying. The seminar themed "Drug Prevention Through Local Wisdom" according to Mulyadi, received support from Aceh Tengah Regency Government, Aceh Tengah Legislative Council, and many other parties. Aceh Tengah Regent, Shabela Abukabar appreciated the youths' movement that had initiated an important activity to educate the people, especially the youths, to stay away from drugs. According to Shabela, local wisdom can help preventing drug trafficking among the people, by increasing togetherness, reminding each other, and sharing information if people find any drug abuse suspects. Cooperation from all is needed to anticipate the drug abuse and trade, beginning from the lowest level of community which is the family and village until higher governmental structure. In the seminar, there was also the signing of Integrity Pact as joint commitment to prevent and eradicate drug trafficking.

Deputy Regent of Jember, Kyai Muqit Arief called on all people of Jember Regency, East Java Province not to be easily provoked by issues that try to disturb the religious harmony that leads to disintegration of Indonesia. Various attacks against religious figures in several regions were suspected to be effort from certain groups with hidden agenda that is not based on any religious teaching. That was stated by Kyai Muqit to RRI Jember on Tuesday (13/2). According to Kyai Muqit, in every religious teaching, the attacks by the irresponsible individual were anarchism that cannot be justified and must be condemned. Therefore, to prevent similar cases from spreading into other regions, including Jember regency, more proactive communication among interfaith figures is important to give enlightenment to the people.

The central government plans to build airport in Purbalingga and Blora regency, Central Java province to increase people’s economy and welfare. Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi after attending topping off of new terminal of Ahmad Yani International Airport, Semarang, said on Sunday that the growth of investment and economy in Central Java province requires more air transportation. Request on airport development has been submitted to the Ministry of Transportation. The Minister explained that airport development in Purbalingga regency which is the expansion from General Soedirman airbase to a commercial airport, is still in the process of land procurement. For the development of the airport in Blora regency, Minister Budi Karya Sumadi said it is still in the design planning. The location of the General Soedirman airport in Central Java in the West is very strategic. In addition to supporting air transportation, the airport in Purbalingga also promotes the regional economy of surrounding areas such as  Banyumas, Pemalang, Banjarnegara, Kebumen, and Wonosobo.

To introduce and preserve the beauty of typical archipelagic batik in international event, designer from Surabaya, Lia Afif is interested in the uniqueness and the beauty of Trenggalek batik. Therefore, the designer, who has experience in Muslim fashion, will bring Trenggalek batik in London Fashion Week 2018. Around 15 models of Islamic clothes combination with Trenggalek batik will be brought to the prestigious event which is held starting from February 16 until 20, 2018.

Lia Afif, said on Sunday (11/2) that Trenggalek batik has various kinds of unique motifs namely clove, durian, mangosteen, and also motif of jaranan turangga yakso dance. The 15 models of Islamic clothes are taken from batik craftsmen in Trenggalek. According to Lia, Trenggalek batik is very unique with its natural color. The complicated making process and also natural color, make the designer interested in designing and participating in London Fashion Week 2018. Meanwhile, vice chairman of Family Welfare Empowerment Team of Trenggalek regency, Novita Hardini explained that Trenggalek batik is very special and worth to be marketed or showed in international event.

Minister of Freign Affairs, Retno Marsudi along with representatives of neighbor countries held Asian Games 2018 diplomatic walk at Bung Karno stadium complex in Jakarta on Sunday ( 11/2 ). The event was held to see the Indonesian preparedness in holding the biggest sport event in Asia. The minister, diplomats, and also ambassadors from neighbor countries started diplomatic walk from West lobby of Bung Karno GBK and finished 2 rounds in the complex. Minister Retno Marsudi in her speech said that Asian Games is not only a competition of sport, but also a platform to expand relationship. The minister conveyed to the diplomats and the ambassadors that Indonesia hosted the Asian Games in1962 in Jakarta. In 2018, for the first time in history, the Asian Games will be held in two cities, namely Jakarta and Palembang on August 18 to September 2. Minister Retno Marsudi said that Indonesia is ready to hold the 18th Asian Games this year and invited the representatives of neighbor countries to announce the Indonesian readiness to their countries. Asian Games Diplomatic Walk was also attended by the chairman of Indonesian Olympiad Committee and Indonesia Asian Games 2018 Organizing Committee INASGOC Erick Tohir and also vice minister of foreign affairs, A.M.Fachir. Asian Games 2018 mascot namely Bin-Bin, Atung and Kaka also enlivened the event.

Jakarta’s Governor Anies Baswedan appreciates Indonesian Women's Alliance which focuses on Family Resilience Program. Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, gave appreciation to the Indonesian Women's Alliance which focuses on strengthening and resilience of the family. According to him, Indonesian women must be strong and able to provide positive examples in the family. This was conveyed by Anies Baswedan on the sidelines of Tabligh Akbar event which was attended by about 5,000 women of the ta'lim assembly in Jakarta, Saturday (10/2). He emphasized that Mothers are the most important element in a country. When Mothers make progress, then the nation and state will also make progress. Therefore, Anies Baswedan hoped that Indonesian women can answer the challenges of the times and move forward. Chairman of the Indonesian Women Alliance, Atikah Hasan, said the purpose of this alliance is to build Islamic civilization. The brotherhood spirit of the nation becomes the social capital of Indonesian women into a strong and dignified society. Therefore, this Alliance will focus on working on family resilience. She believed having family resilience will strengthen the resilience of the nation. Education Practitioner, Fifi Jubilea, said education is a major factor in strengthening family resilience. The resilience of the family will be qualified if it is built from a strong family of morals, religions, and education.

 

The province of Bangka Belitung Islands hosted the first grand Gathering of National Fishermen held on 10 and 11 February, in Pangkalpinang. Director of the Indonesian Marine and Fisheries Affairs, Ayub Faidiban, Saturday (10/2) stated that the National Fishermen gathering in Bangka Belitung was an event to reveal all the problems experienced by Indonesian fishermen from Sabang to Merauke. He also appreciated the Governor of Bangka Belitung Islands who responded quickly to this activity. He hoped that all fishermen that present could proactively convey their aspirations for the fisherman's progress. The Grand Gathering of National Fishermen was facilitated by the Indonesian Marine and Fisheries Institution in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Bangka Belitung Islands and attended by 1,000 invitations from representatives of Indonesian Marine and Fisheries Institutions and fishermen throughout Indonesia.

 

Detectives of Narcotics and Drug Unit - Purwakarta Police Resort improved the Socialization on Prevention, Eradication, Abuse, and Illicit Drug Distribution. It was conducted at a mosque in Cibatu Subdistrict, Purwakarta Regency, West Java, Saturday (10/2). To make Purwakarta Regency, West Java, free from drug trafficking, the ranks of Drug Detective Unit provide socialization to the people. Head of Purwakarta Police Drug Investigation Unit, AKP Heri Nurcahyo, said, drugs are one of the biggest threats which existence is always ready to damage human life, especially young people as the next generation of the nation. As Head of Drug Eradication Unit at Purwakarta Police Resort, he invites parents to be more active in paying attention to while simultaneously watching out every movement of children from negative activity. According to Heri Nurcahyo, the government has set up heavy penalties for every drug user. This is an evidence of how serious government is in combating drug trafficking, following the network and the drug users.

Indonesia-China relations continue to increase, especially in the economic field. However, the cooperation between the two countries should always be mutually beneficial. This statement was delivered by Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi during a courtesy visit to Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China Liu Keqiang, in Beijing on Friday (9/2). She encouraged both countries to overcome challenges and take advantage of opportunities. It is important to realize various cooperation agreements in the fields of economy, trade, and investment, as well as infrastructure, including investment in 4 economic corridors. Therefore, Minister Retno hoped that Prime Minister Liu Keqiang can continue to provide full support for the cooperation and partnership between the two countries. the Minister also expressed the need for efforts to promote the rapid and balanced growth of bilateral trade. In the meeting, Prime Minister Liu Keqiang reiterated the importance of Indonesia-China relations. The visit of the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs to China was at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

The event which was attended by 9 Foreign Consulates, namely Philippines, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, China, Thailand and Taipei Cultural Office was used by the Asian Studies Department to encourage students to recognize the potential of Asian countries in tourism, culture and education sectors. President of Langara College, Dr. Lane Trotter, at the opening ceremony in Vancouver on Tuesday (6/2) expressed appreciation for the participation of several foreign consulates. According to him, this activity was very useful for students pursuing the subject of Asia because they could gain more insight into Asia. The opportunity of Asian Studies Day was also used by the Indonesian Consulate General of Vancouver to disseminate information about Indonesia to the students in Langara, especially about the economic potential, tourism, and the condition of the multicultural Indonesian community. Indonesia is invited as a guest of honor at the3rd Anniversary of Kaolack International Trade Fair or Foire Internationale de Kaolack – FIKA held from 1 to 14 February in Kaolack Province. Indonesia's positive image in Senegalese eyes is now increasing. Indonesia's participation in FIKA was continuously announced on Senegal radio and television. As a result, the number of exhibitors who participated in the exhibition also jumped to reach 700. Senegal Prime Minister Mahammed Boun Abdallah Dionne who officially opened the FIKA, appreciated Indonesia's willingness to act as a guest of honor country. The Senegalese Prime Minister said the Senegalese government fully supports the implementation of FIKA, as Kaolack Province is one of the most advanced regions in Senegal. In front of hundreds of invited guests, Indonesian Ambassador in Dakar, Mansyur Pangeran, in his speech said the trade cooperation between Indonesia and Senegal in recent years has increased rapidly. This increase is indicated by the abundance of Indonesian products in Senegalese traditional markets, such as palm oil, furniture, food and beverages, and electronic products.

Jambi is a province in Sumatra island. The region is located precisely on the east coast of Sumatra island. Like other provinces, Jambi also offers a variety of interesting places to visit. It is famous for its Malay City, but actually the province also has many natural and artificial tourist attractions. For natural tourism, Jambi has Mount Kerinci and Muaro Temple. While for artificial tourism, the region has Jambi Paradise, a modern tourism object.

Jambi Paradise is located at the intersection of Acai, Gelam river, and Jambi City. Its tourist objects offer a variety of natural beauty and exciting tourist activities, such as playing boats, flying fox, and enjoying the labyrinth zone. To visit Jambi Paradise, from Sultan Thaha Airport, it is 7.5 km with approximately 10 minutes via Soekarno-Hatta street. Entering this tourism site, you are required to pay Rp.20.000 fees on weekdays, and Rp. 30,000 on holiday. The opening hours from 8 am to 6 pm.

When entering the Jambi Paradise, you will be greeted with alley from vines with birds and chickens on the right and left side of the area. This 30-meter long aisle is one of the instagramable places in Jambi Paradise. You can make photographs by yourself or selfie in the aisle. Not far from the object, it looks bamboo strands on the right and left side that give coolness when sitting under it. While on the top, you can find a suspension bridge. Jambi Paradise has a major tourist object such as quite large water tourism, with the main design of a small lake that surrounding the mainland in the middle. If you are tired of traveling around the area, you can rent saung around the edge of the lake to enjoy some snacks or just enjoy young coconut ice.

Besides traveling and taking pictures in the instagramble spots, you can also try various interesting places in Jambi Paradise. You can try Flying Fox which is the longest flying fox in Jambi with ticket price Rp.30.000 per person.

Just below the Flying Fox, there is also a suspension bridge. You can test your adrenaline by climbing this suspension bridge with the ticket of Rp20.000. For those who want to exercise, you can also rent a bike in Jambi Paradise to get around the area. You can also rent an ATV motorcycle which is located not far from the entrance of Jambi Paradise. Other interesting facilities in the Jambi Paradise are boats, water bikes and also water balloons.
