The United States of America consulate for Sumatra region, Juha P Salin, accompanied by special official of political and economic sector, Rachma Jaurinata, discussed environmental issues and Leuser forest area for during this time which has become the attention of the world, on Tuesday (10/4). In the discussion in Banda Aceh, Juha P Salin asked about the issue of development which was conducted at Mt.Leuser National Park and has attracted the attention of the environmental activists, Non-governmental organization, even UNESCO. On the occasion, Vice Governor Nova Iriansyah, asserted that the government of Aceh very committed on forest protection. It is also part of Aceh Green program which is carried out by the government of Aceh. Vice governor Nova Iriansyah conveyed that the geothermal project infrastructure surrounding Mt. Leuser National Park which previously has been planned by the government of Aceh, is also canceled. The Vice governor added that the government of Aceh will establish cooperation of forest management with Oregon, the United States.

Governor of North Sulawesi, Olly Dondokambey, invited all young people in North Sulawesi to inflame nationalism for the unitary of republic of Indonesia. This was stated by the governor when attending ceremony on state potential, and also received barret to become honorable student regiment which was held at the campus of institute of public administration, Tampusu Minahasa, on Tuesday (10/4). The governor also invited young generation to play strategic role to defend the unitary of republic of Indonesia,. He stressed that young generation  must practice the national values and nationalism through love homeland action.  State’s defend becomes essential and must be practice by all citizens. The awareness to defend the state is the capital and basic of national strength, to protect the integrity and dignity of the people of Indonesia and state. Young generation must also be able to make changes to a better direction.

After conducting routine investigation for three days at class II immigration office of Nunukan, North Kalimantan, 6 of 8 Malaysian citizens which were secured by Nunukan immigration officer on Friday (7/4), were officially deported to Tawao, Malaysia,  on Tuesday (10/4) by using KM. Labuan Expres through Tunontaka port, Nunukan. Head of class II Nunukan immigration, Ferry Herling Ishak South, told RRI that the time for the investigation must be in accordance with data from consulate, to make sure that the 8 foreigners are Malaysians. Two Malaysians, name Nisran Bin Kadir and Amir Hamsyah Bin Umar will be deported separately while waiting for completeness of their document from the consulate. The 8 Malaysian citizens were participants of Grass Track National Championship Round 1 of Kalimantan Region. According to head of the group, Amir, the organizing committee guaranteed their arrival to Indonesia. With the guarantee from the committee, the 8 Malaysian citizens dared to take risk coming to Sebatik without passport. After arriving at Aji Kuning dock, Central Sebatik district, they were investigated by  Sebatik immigration post. During the investigation which was conducted by head of Sungai Pancang immigration post, Muhamad Anas Awalludin, the 8 Malaysian citizens could not show their travel documents to enter Indonesia.   Meanwhile, their 5 trail motorbikes are secured at the Customs office.

We present the songs from The Kubs music group. The KUBS, originally named the Kuburan   Band, existed in the Indonesian music industry since 2001. It is unclear when actually The KUBS was formed. However, September 11, 2001 was chosen as the anniversary of The KUBS to commemorate the tragedy of the World Trade Center in the United States. Even though the date is confusing, but the birthplace of The KUBS or Kuburan Band  is in Bandung, West Java. The personnel of the Band are six students of Parahyangan University of Bandung, namely Priya (vocalist), Raka (guitarist), Donny (guitarist), Denny (bassist), Udhe (keyboardist), and Dino (drummer). In 2011, these six personnel had dissolved the Kuburan band. However, as a consequence they still work as The KUBS. The six personnel agreed to carry the "metal hydraulic" music, a self-made music genre. In every performance the personnel of the Kubs always cover their faces with makeup which is primarily a super white powder and lipstick as metal band’s style. Many people think their performance was inspired by "Kiss", a band from the United States. However, the makeup of The KUBS was actually inspired by Ria Jenaka, a renowned humor group in Indonesia. The KUBS claimed that they present "metal hydraulic" music genre which is defined as a metal without a definite direction. Sometimes the music contained metal, pop, rock and dangdut genres. The song lyrics of the KUBS also seem humorous and use Indonesian and local languages.

Indonesian Foreign Affairs Vice Minister, A.M. Fachir met Andorra Foreign Affairs Minister, Maria Ubach Font in Andorra La Vella on Monday (9/4). The meeting is meant to increase bilateral cooperation, especially in economic sector and people-to-people contact. On the occasion, Vice Minister Fachir invited Minister Ubach to increase trade and investment of the two countries. According to Fachir, trade and investment of the two countries is very dynamic in the last three years. Meanwhile, Minister Maria Ubach invited Indonesia to be a new partner in the economic diversification process of her country. Indonesian Vice Minister A.M. Fachir also encouraged relation among citizens, through Indonesian Arts and Culture Scholarship Program and interaction among entrepreneurs, and also artist exchange of the two countries.

The Indonesian embassy in Tokyo held an event, Gathering of Indonesian Entrepreneur Assocation in Japan. The gathering which which was organizedin cooperation between the association managers and the Indonesian embassy in Tokyo, was attended by Chairman of Japan Indonesia Association(Japinda), Yasuo Fukuda, Chairman of Indonesia – Japan Economic Committee,  Shigeo Ohyagi, Japanese businessmen community and Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday (4/4). The association which was established on August 17, 2017, has purposed to increase economic cooperation and   people to people contact, to implement research and to increase awareness of Japanese people on Indonesia.Besides that, the implementation of business training can contribute to economic growth of the two countries.

The United States of America, director general of International law and agreement stated that Indonesia was the most active country to negotaite marine border. Currently, Indonesia is actively negotiate marine border with all neighbor countries by emphasizing its status as the archipelagic country, thus the principle of the archipelagic base will still be the basis for the negotiation of mapping the boundary line.It was stated byDamos Dumoli Agusman, Director General of International Law and Agreement of Foreign Affairs’ Ministry in his presentation before the experts on international law who were joined in American Society of International in Washington DC, (6/4/2018). In a joint panel with the figures of international law, Damos described Indonesia’s complexity and experience in negotiating maritime boundary. In the discussion, the panelists discussed on current issues on maritime boundary, especially conciliation result of Timor Leste and Australia which is considered as an innovation in history of resolution for the dispute and also to suggest for the mechanism in solving maritime dispute, especially by Asia Pacific countries. In the discussion, Damos also appreciated the innovation reminding that conciliation result is not binding and remain submitted to the agreement of the parties.Currently, Indonesia still relies on negotiations because dialogue becomes the pillar in Indonesia's foreign policy.

East Nusa Tenggara province –NTT has exotic nature. Even, the nature in NTT is recognized in the world to have exotic and amazing natural scenery. The beauty of nature in the province until now is chatted by domestic and foreign tourists from various communities. One of them is Rangko cave. Rangko cave is located at Rangko village, Boleng district, West Manggarai regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Although currently, the tourism object has been chatted in social media, this tourism object still preserves its nature. Rangko cave is one of the tourism objects which is located at a land and connects to Komodo Island. Thus, the place is suitable to be destination after or before visiting Komodo National Park. To visit Rangko cave, you will be amazed with the beauty of nature in the cave. Entering to the cave, you will be greeted with blue scenery from clear spring pool. The clear spring as if invites you to jump and to play water in its pool. If you want to enjoy the scenery and to swim at Rangko cave, we suggest to come between 13.00 and 15.00 local time. Because the cave is quite dark, so only at that time, sun light enters into the cave’s cracks. To Rangko village, you can drive car or motorcycle from Labuan Bajo. Arriving at Rangko village, you can continue your trip by renting boat from local people. The fee which must be paid is around  Rp 300,000. To go to Rangko cave from the gateway, the visitors must be through long bridge which connects to a dock. The trip takes 15 minutes by walking. Afterwards, you will enter the cave’s area. At the place, you will be through forest and slippery cliffs. Thus to reach Rangko cave, you must be careful.
