According to the official statement of the Central Board of All Soft Tennis Association of Indonesia in Jakarta, Tuesday night, Hendri Susilo Pramono as a team manager when transiting in Singapore said that National Soft Tennis Indonesia Training Team won six gold medals, five silvers, and four bronzes in the 11th Soft Tennis German Open 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany on June 1-3. While at the top of the women's sector, Dede Tari Kusrini defeat her compatriot, Dwi Rahayu Pitri. In the men's doubles final, duet Hemat Bakti Anugrah and Gusti Jayakusuma conquered senior pair Elbert Sie/Hendri Susilo Pramono. While women’s doubles Dede Tari Kusrini and Anadeleyda Kawengian seized gold after dismissing resistance Dwi Rahayu Pitri and Voni Darlina. The international tournament entitled The 11th Soft Tennis German Open 2018 was followed by four countries, namely the host Germany, Poland, India, and Indonesia. After competing in Germany, ten athletes was heading straight to Thailand on Wednesday (6/6). Prima Simpatiaji and the others will be in Thailand until June 11 to follow the Pattaya Open. At the Inter-Asian Games four years ago in Incheon, South Korea, Indonesian soft tennis won one silver from the men's singles number on behalf of Edi Kusdaryanto and one bronze of the mixed doubles, pair of Prima Simpatiaji and Maya Rosa for the Indonesian contingent.

Indonesia 2018 Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (INAPGOC) held a welcome simulation of the arrival of athletes at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on  Tuesday (5/6). The preparation for the Asian Para Games 2018 which will take place on 6 October, keeps being maximized by INAPGOC. The simulation began from a briefing at the airport authority office and the manager of Angkasa Pura II in the airport office area. Andrianto Soedjarwo as Director of Arrival & Departure INAPGOC in official release, Wednesday (6/6) said that the simulation was also a monitor of the readiness in Test Event that will be held on June 27 to July 3 by using Terminal 2 and 3. The simulation was also used as good coordination with related agencies, such as PT Angkasa Pura II, Directorate of Customs and Excise, Airport Police Resort, Directorate General of Immigration, and Soekarno-Hatta Airport Authority. Asian Para Games 2018 will be held in October 2018 after the implementation of ASIAN GAMES 2018.

The results of the National Athletics Championship 2018 some time ago brought West Kalimantan athlete of women’s race walker, Sri Juliani to be elected to follow the 2018 Asian Games Jakarta-Palembang. Sri Juliani successfully exceeded the targeted Big Board of Athletic Union Throughout Indonesia -PB PASI time limit -55 minutes, but her achievement was 53 minutes. Trainer of West Kalimantan PASI, Adi Pani said that athletics becomes a measurable sport. So, the time limit becomes the benchmark measure of the athlete's ability. He added that the certainty of Sri Juliani’s winning was directly obtained by Adi Pani via telephone from PB PASI. Adi explained that Sri Juliani is currently undergoing preparation to face the 2018 Asian Games in Pontianak. Adi Pani did not comment much on the strength map of women’s race walking in Asian Games. However, he is quite optimistic that the opportunity remains open, especially if looked in history, long jump athlete Maria Londa who did preparations outside national training camp, was able to present medals for Indonesia.

In accordance with the title of the song, “TAPIS BERSERI” tells that Bandar Lampung city is orderly, safe, obedient, faithful, prosperous, clean, neat and beautiful. Composed by Semar Jaya IS, the song is fast and cheerful. While the music is Malay music, which is marked by the game of musical instruments -accordion, tambourine and serunai. Besides being a Slogan, the name Tapis is also used for traditional cloth of Lampung people. The song "Siger Lampung" tells the story of Siger. Siger is a triangular, gold-colored bridal crown of Lampung and usually has nine or seven branches or curves. This crown is then a symbol of Lampung province. In addition to telling about Siger, through the lyrics, this song also invites listeners to preserve the customs and traditions of the people of Lampung.

World Ocean Day has been commemorated every June 8 since the first submission in 1992 by Canada at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This anniversary was then endorsed by the UN at the end of 2008. World Ocean Day is a memorial day to appreciate the world's Oceans by celebrating the results provided by Oceans, such as seafood and marine life for aquariums, pets and it’s time to appreciate the intrinsic value itself. The sea also provides shipping lanes for international trade. In addition to appreciating the World's Oceans, World Ocean Day is also commemorated to raise awareness of the community to preserve the sea. For Indonesia as an archipelagic country that has a vast sea zone and rich in marine biodiversity, World Ocean Day becomes an important moment for the Indonesian nation. World Sea Day commemoration again awakens the Indonesian people about the importance of preserving the sea of ​​Indonesia and inviting the community to participate actively. The Indonesian government has been trying to preserve the environment of Indonesia by making various conservation areas as national parks. Indonesia has many national parks and some of them include marine areas. Let's get to know the marine national parks in Indonesia. Before contributing actively in the effort to conserve the sea, first identify 5 Indonesian Marine National Parks in various regions in Indonesia. The first one is Bunaken National Park. This National Park is located in North Sulawesi. The marine beauty of Bunaken National Park is no longer indisputable, considering becomes the home of more than 300 species of coral reefs and various marine biotas. Because Bunaken National Park is located close to the center of the Coral Triangle, a coral reef triangle that becomes the center of marine biodiversity in the world as well as the top priority of global marine conservation. Second park is Wakatobi National Park. This park which is located in Southeast Sulawesi is a part of conservation of coral reefs and marine life, such as stingrays and whales. Wakatobi itself stands for the name of the four main islands in the area namely Wangi-Wangi, Kaledupa, Tomia, and Binongko. Third one is still on the island of Sulawesi, Togean Islands National Park which is located in Central Sulawesi. The islands and waters of Togean are protected because they have a wealth of coral reefs and amazing marine life. In addition, the Togean Islands become home to the Bajo Tribe; one of the tribes in Indonesia whose life is very close to the sea. Therefore, this national park not only offers the experience of enjoying the beauty of nature but also learning the richness of Indonesian culture. In addition to the island of Sulawesi, Java Island also has a marine national park. It is located not far from the capital of Jakarta that is in Ujung Kulon, Banten. Besides covering the islands and waters with diverse biological riches, Ujung Kulon is also home to endangered rhinoceros, the Javanese Rhino. Krakatau volcano which was famous for its massive eruption in the past is included into the Ujung Kulon National Park. Finally, Komodo National Park is located in East Nusa Tenggara. This area gets the title of the national park because it has stunning sea beauty. This national park has become a favorite tourist destination for both domestic and foreign tourists. One of the attractions of Komodo National Park is the presence of endemic species of Indonesian endangered komodo dragons.

Bajo tribe has a traditional settlement which is located at Bangko village, Maginti district, Muna regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The territory of the Bangko village, which is in the west part of Muna Island, includes land and sea.  The settlement at Bangko village is built on the sea which has a distance around 600 meters from Muna Island so that as if it is a floating settlement. Among many Bajo tribe settlements in Southeast Sulawesi, Bangko village is one of Bajo tribe’s villages which still preserves the tradition which exists on the sea until now. Meanwhile, another Bajo tribe settlement has lived permanently at the edge of the beach or built house on land.The name of Bangko village was taken from an island near the settlement which was built, namely Bangko Island. Bangko in Bajo language means ‘mangrove’. The island is named Bangko Island because the island is covered by 95 percent of mangrove. Since the past, Bajo tribe has relies its life from the sea and has life which is never far from the sea. Bajo tribe is always identical with boat and settlement on the sea. Because in the past, the people of Bajo tribe only lived on the boat and moved from one place to another. Their habit changed by living permanently and they also build their house on shallow sea until now. To Bangko village, the trip starts from Raha city (the capital city of Muna regency) to Pajala village at Maginti district by using personal car or rental car. The trip has a distance around 70 kilometers. Arriving at Pajala village, the trip is continued by boat with distance around 7 kilometers. The fee to ride the boat is around Rp 100,000/person.
